Mark Cross plies his trade at Greenpoint Tattoo Co in Brooklyn, even though he grew up on the opposite side of the States, San Francisco. A high school drop out he was inspired to start tattooing by a family friend who he called “Uncle Tattoo”. He got himself into an art school in SF and got a job as “shop guy” in a local studio, being paid in tattoo supplies. He now works out of Greenpoint Co and will never regret swapping the spray can of graffiti for the needle of tattooing.
